This is an application filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the Applicants, who are in jail since 29.04.2017 in connection with Crime No.234 of 2017 registered at Police Station Sadar, Ambikapur (Chhattisgarh) for the offence punishable under Section 34(2) of Chhattisgarh Excise Act.

Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that 7.860 bulk litres of illicit liquor was seized by the police from the possession of the present Applicants.

3. Considering the quantity of liquor which is alleged to have been seized from the possession of the applicants and also the fact that the

applicants are in jail since 29.04.2017, this Court is of the opinion that prima facie, a strong case for grant of bail has been made out. 4.

Accordingly, the application for grant of bail is allowed. It is directed that the Applicants will be released on bail on their furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety each in the like sum to the satisfaction of the concerned Court for their appearance before the said Court as and when directed.
