1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised, is the out of turn promotion granted to the respondents No. 5 to 8 for having successfully participated in a naxal operation in August 2018. According to the petitioner, he was also part of the same team and had also accompanied the respondents No. 5 to 8, however the

petitioner's claim for out of turn promotion has not been considered nor has the respondents held that the petitioner is not eligible for the said promotion.

2. Given the fact that the respondents have till date not taken a decision in respect of out of turn promotion of the petitioner at par with the respondents No. 5 to 8, ends of justice would meet if the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the respondents No. 2 to 4 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and the respondents No. 2 to 4 inturn shall consider/decide the representation of the petitioner at the earliest in accordance with law and shall also consider the claim of the petitioner on the ground of parity with the respondents No. 5 to 8, if at all if things are identical, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of representation to be made by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
