The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that the services of the petitioner was terminated on 23.04.2003 on account of petitioner's getting convicted in a criminal case on 28.11.2002 for the offence under Section 409 of Indian Penal Cod. The aid judgment of conviction has been set-aside/quashed by the High Court vide judgment dated 08.03.2019 in Criminal Appeal No. 1242/2002.

Subsequent to the judgment of acquittal, the petitioner has made repeated representations to the authorities for granting him joining, which the respondents has till date not taken decision. 3.
Considering the nature of dispute and also taking note of the judgment of acquittal in favour of the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that ends of
-2justice would meet if the respondent No.2 is directed to tame immediate steps so far as the reinstatement of the petitioner in service is concerned pursuant to the judgment of acquittal dated 08.03.2019. 4.
Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 5.
It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondent No.2, so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned. 6.
With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
