1. Heard.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner pursuant to the work order issued in 2013 constructed a Primary Health Center building and it was completed in the year 2016, however, the payment was not released immediately and of late in the year 2020 the payment of Rs.19,72,134/- was released but no interest was given and undue delay was caused by the officers
of the respondent PWD department for the obvious reasons. He would therefore, submit that the respondents may be directed to release the interest for which he has made a representation to the respondent No.4 vide Annexure P-8 dated 19.10.2020 and taking note of the representation, the same may be decided.
3. Considering the prayer made by the petitioner, without further going into the merits of this case, since the petitioner has already made a representation before the respondent No.4, the respondent No.4 is directed to decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
