It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the land belonging to the petitioners in both the cases were acquisitioned by the respondents. An award dated 21.12.2015 was passed by the respondent No.4 without any intimation to the petitioners. The amount of compensation as ordered in the award has been deposited in the account of S.D.O.-cum- Land Acquisition Officer, but the same has not been disbursed to the petitioners, therefore, the petitioners have entitlement of interest of 15% per annum on the compensation amount from the date of passing of award. Hence, it is prayed that the appropriate order be passed.

Learned State counsel opposes the submissions. It is further submitted that appropriate order may be passed.

After considering on the submissions. Both the petitions are disposed off at motion stage. The petitioners are granted liberty to file representation, before the respondent No.3 and 4 within a period of 15 days from today and in case any such representation is filed by the petitioners in both the cases, then the respondent No.3 and 4 are directed to proceed to decide on such representation, which may be decided preferably within a period of 60 days.
