1. The challenge in the present writ petitioner is to the order of discontinuance of contractual appointment dated 01.06.2019.

2. Perusal of the record would show that the order of appointment was

made on 26.07.2017 and since then the petitioner was working uninterruptedly with satisfactory performance. However, vide the impugned order, the contractual appointment of the petitioner has been discontinued.

3. Grievance of the petitioner is that the authority concerned had extended the contract of all other similarly placed persons appointed together with the petitioner but for the petitioner. According to the petitioner, he has already made a representation to the authority concerned and he is still ready to approach the authority for reconsidering their stand of discontinuing his service particularly in the light of the order of the State Govt. dated 04.06.2019 Annexure P-5 whereby the authorities had extended the contract inclusive of the post on which the petitioner was working till 29.02.2020.

Given the aforesaid submission, let the petitioner approach respondent no.4 by making a suitable representation in the light of Annexure P-5 dated 04.06.2019 along with other documents which the petitioner intends to rely upon. The respondents in turn may consider the same in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the field and also taking note of the fact that the Govt. had vide order dated 04.06.2019 permitted extension of contract.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- P. Sam Koshy Judge Khatai
