1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the present writ petition is that though he has retired from service w.e.f. 31.01.2017 that is much after the 7th pay Commission came into force i.e. on 01.01.2016 but he has not been given arrears of pay and retiral dues in terms of the revised pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.2016.

2. Given the limited grievance that petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that writ petition itself can be disposed of at this juncture directing the respondents No.3 to immediately scrutinize the claim of the petitioner so far as granting of benefits of the revised pay scale w.e.f. 01.01.2016 till the

date of his retirement as also for the consequential retiral dues payable to him on the revised pay scale.

3. Let this exercise be done at the earliest by the respondents No.3 preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
