1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on the complaint of the petitioner offence has been registered in connection with Crime No.12/2020 for offence punishable under Sections 13(1)(D) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, against Prasant Shukla but it has not been further proceeded, therefore, a direction may be issued to the Competent Authority to investigate and decide the matter in accordance with law.

3. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the Competent Authority to expedite the investigation, which will be considered in accordance with law.

4. With the aforesaid direction/observation the instant writ petition stands disposed of. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
