The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for grant of appropriate time bond pay-scale under the scheme framed by the State Government vide circular dated 28.04.2008. 2.

According to the petitioner, on the date of circular the petitioner was in employment with the respondents and thereafter he has taken voluntary retirement w.e.f. 31.05.2008. According to the petitioner, he had been appointed as a Assistant Sub Inspector in Ministerial Cadre and he has retired on the same post after having worked for

a period of about 36 years and therefore he would had been entitled for the benefit as per the circular dated 28.04.2008. 3.

Counsel for the petitioner at this juncture submits that as of now the purpose would be served if the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents authorities to consider and decide the representation that the petitioner has made.

The State counsel does not oppose the limited relief sought for. 5.

The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of directing the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner at the earliest in accordance with the Rules and Scheme governing the field preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
