Admittedly, the petitioners are not claiming any relief for themselves. They want initiation of prosecution of respondent Nos.3 & 4 for committing offence under Section 3/7 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 for alleged violation of Clause No.11 (5) (6), 12 (3), 13 (1) & 15 of the Chhattisgarh PDS Order,

2004 as well as some clauses of the agreement pursuant to a licence issued to the respondent Nos.3 & 4 for operating fair price shop.

In the absence of petitioner's claiming any relief for themselves, the writ petition appears to be in the nature of PIL, therefore, it is not maintainable in its present form.
