The instant petition has been filed against non-payment of amount of pension, gratuity, group insurance, family welfare fund, general provident fund and leave surrender in favour of the Petitioner as the same has not been decided by the Respondents in spite of passing of considerable period of 9 months from the date of her superannuation.

It is submitted by the counsel for the Petitioner that upon completion of

age of superannuation, the Petitioner has been retired from the post of Project Officer of the office of Women and Child Development Department, however, in spite of lapse of 9 months from the date of her superannuation and despite filing of the representation in this regard on 08.07.2021 (Annexure P4), the same has not been decided so far. Learned counsel for the Petitioner, therefore, prays for a direction to the concerned authority, i.e., Respondent No.5-District Programme Officer, Women and Child Development Department to decide her representation as made on 08.07.2021. 3.

In view of above, the Court feels that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending as the petition can be disposed of at this stage itself. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of by directing Respondent No.5- District Programme Officer, Women and Child Development Department to take an appropriate decision on the said representation as made by the Petitioner on 08.07.2021 (Annexure P4) within a period of three months from the communication/ receipt of the order of this Court. 4.

It is made clear that while disposing of this petition, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the concerned authorities would decide the same in accordance with law. 5.
