1. Heard Mr.Harish Khuntiya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Ghanshyam Patel, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents / State on the question of admission of this writ petition.

2. Mr.Harish Khuntiya, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner is entitled for promotion from the post of Peon to the post of Assistant Grade-III, but his case has not been considered and decided by the respondents and for which, he may may be allowed to make a representation which may be directed to be considered and decided expeditiously.

3. Mr.Ghanshyam Patel, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents/State, would submit that if such a representation is filed, it will be considered and decided expeditiously.

4. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation to the competent authority within two weeks from today. If such a representation is made, the competent authority would do well to consider and decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and has not directed for promotion.

5. With the aforesaid observation / direction, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
