1. The present writ petition though has been filed seeking for two reliefs, firstly for revocation of suspension and further for a final decision in the departmental enquiry at the earliest.

2. So far as revocation of suspension is concerned, this Court is reluctant to entertain the said prayer at this juncture as the

departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner has already reached the fag end. The Additional Director General of Police earlier on 06.04.2019 itself had ordered for early conclusion of the departmental enquiry.

3. The counsel for the petitioner submits that all the material witnesses have been examined and the inquiry report also has been submitted and only an order has to be passed by the Disciplinary Authority.

4. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondents No. 3 & 4 to ensure appropriate decision is taken on the departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner based on the outcome of the inquiry report at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
