(3) Counsel for the applicants is heard on restoration petition. (4) The applicant is seeking restoration of Writ Petition (C) No. 981 of 2012 which was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 09.07.2018.
(5) On due consideration of the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicants and the grounds taken in the restoration petition, I am satisfied that the absence of applicants' counsel on 09.07.2018 when Writ Petition (C) No. 981 of 2012 was taken-up for hearing was based on bona fide grounds. (6) M.C.C. No. 730 of 2018, therefore, is allowed and Writ Petition (C) No. 981 of 2012 is restored to its original number.
