1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to conclude the departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner at the earliest.

2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the departmental enquiry was initiated in the year 2017 and it has till date not been concluded. The counsel for the petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents for getting the departmental enquiry concluded at the earliest.

3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the departmental enquiry was initiated in the year 2017, let the respondents No. 2 & 3 ensure that the departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner is concluded at the earliest preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
