1. Heard.

2. The applicants has preferred this bail application under Section 439 of Cr.P.C., as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No.58/2020, registered at Police Station Kelhari, Baikunthpur District: Koriya (CG), for the offence punishable under Section 20(B) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Act, 1985.

3. The applicant has been found in illicit possession of 34 kilograms of contraband Cannabis when he was traveling with other co-accused persons in a Bolero vehicle on 07-07-2020.

4. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

5. Considering the huge quantity of contraband recovered from the applicant possession, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

6. Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed with liberty to revive the prayer at an appropriate stage.
