Shri S. P. Kale, Dy. Advocate General Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 13.09.2018 The only dispute raised by the petitioner is the non releasing of pension and pensionary benefits on account of the petitioner having not been able to provide PRAN number to the respondents. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already approached the Authorities concerned for grant of PRAN number but the

same has not been scrutinized by the respondents and therefore there is a delay occurring in releasing of pension. He prays that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner at the earliest. 3.

Given the fact, this Court is not inclined to keep the petition pending rather ends of justice would be served if the respondents are directed to ensure that, subject to the petitioner's providing all requisite formalities, they would take all necessary steps ensuring the issuance of PRAN to the petitioner and thereafter shall further process the case of the petitioner for releasing of family pension at the earliest. The petitioner would be entitled for arrears of the family pension also.
