The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that, the petitioner while working as a Constable at Police Station Chando, District Balrampur (C.G.) in the year 2005, he was involved in the Naxalite operations.

According to the counsel for the petitioner, the people who were associated with the petitioner have been duly considered for out of turn promotion by the authorities, but without assigning any reason the petitioner has been left out. He further submits that, the petitioner has made detailed representation in this regard to the authorities which too has not been decided till date. He further contended that, similarly placed person had already filed a Writ Petition i.e. WPS No. 5911/2014 before this Court which was allowed by this Court on 20/07/2015.

Given the said facts, which are not disputed by the State counsel on advance copy, the Writ Petition itself is disposed off with a direction to the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner Annexure-P/6 dated 19/11/2016 at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.
