(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that confiscation proceedings is pending before the Collector, Bilaspur, therefore, the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously. To which, counsel for the State has no objection. (3) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable and accordingly the same is allowed. (4) Accordingly, the Collector, Bilaspur is directed to decide the confiscation proceedings expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order after affording due opportunity of hearing to the parties in accordance with law.
