The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the impugned order of transfer transferring the petitioner from District Kanker to District Jashpur vide Annexure P/1 dated 05.12.2020. 2.

The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner is more than 61 years of age and has got a short tenure left for his service. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents enters appearance and submits that the respondents are already in the process of an active consideration of the representation that the petitioner has made seeking for a modification to the order of transfer and which

is under progress and within two weeks time the respondents would be positively taking a decision.

Given the statement by Mr. Prakash Tiwari on behalf of the respondents, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents to take a decision within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 5.

Meanwhile, purely as an interim measure considering the age of the petitioner who has reached to fag end of his carrier, the impugned order so far as the petitioner is concerned, shall not be acted upon.
