1. Heard on petition.

2. It is submitted that the petitioner and respondentd No.03 to 09 have contested the elections for the post of Member of Janpad Panchayat- Kusmi, District- Balrampur. Respondent No.03 was declared elected, subsequent to which the petitioner being aggrieved filed an Election Petition under Section 122 of C.G. Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993, before the respondent No.2 on 24.02.2021. The appeal is pending without any progress and as of now more than one year has passed, therefore, prayer has been made for issuance of specific direction.

3. Learned State counsel requests for passing of appropriate order.

4. After considering on the submissions, the petition is disposed off. The respondent No.2 is directed to consider on the appeal filed by the petitioner against respondent No.3 and others and dispose off the same preferably within a period of 90 days from today.
