This is third bail application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. before this Court filed by the applicant for grant of regular bail in connection with his arrest in Crime No.231/2021 registered at P.S. - Takhatpur, District Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh for the offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Heard on I.A.No.1/2021 praying for extension of period of temporary bail granted to the applicant in MCRC No.7497 of 2021 on 05-10-2021. 3.

It is submitted that this applicant was granted temporary bail for a period of one month by the order mentioned hereinabove on the ground that wife of the applicant is suffering from cancer and the applicant is required to take care for the provisions of her treatment.

As per the submission made and the documents produced. The prayer has been made for extension for the reason that the applicant has been advised to seek treatment of his wife in some higher center. Therefore, I feel inclined to allow this application for extension of temporary bail. 5.

Accordingly, I.A.No.1/2021 is allowed. The temporary bail granted to the

-2applicant by earlier order dated 05-10-2021 in MCRC No.7497 of 2021 is extended for a further period of 20 days. It is made clear that fresh bail bond need not be furnished by the applicant, earlier bail bond furnished for the temporary bail shall be effective for the temporary bail period extended. The applicant is now required to surrender on 26th of November, 2021 before the trial Court.

This third bail application for grant of regular bail filed by the applicant is also disposed off.
