1. The applicant has preferred this bail application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C., as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No.188/2020, registered at Police Station Chhuikhada, DistrictRajnandgaon (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Section 20(B) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Act, 1985.

2. Applicant was found in illicit possession of 9.00 Kilograms of Cannabis during search on 14-08-2020.

3. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail. She submits that the applicant is involved in more than five criminal cases, however, she would further submit that none of these cases involve commission of similar nature of crime.

4. Considering that the applicant is in jail since 14-08-2020 i.e. more than six months and also the charge sheet has already been filed, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.

5. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
