In the instant Writ Petition, the father of the petitioner had died in harness on 01/08/2007. Thereafter, the petitioner had moved an application for compassionate appointment which till date has not been finalized. 2.

The limited prayer which the petitioner has made in the present Writ Petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents to take a decision on his claim application at the earliest.

Considering the limited issue involved in the instant Writ Petition, let the respondents No. 3 & 4 take a decision on the claim application of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within an outer limit of 90 days from today.
