1. The grievance raised by the petitioners in the present writ petition is the non-granting of the first and second time bond higher pay scale, which the petitioners had entitled on 8 years and 16 years of continuous service on the same post respectively.

2. Counsel for the petitioners submits that they have made repeated representations in this regard to the authorities and the respondent No.2 has also made recommendation in favour of the petitioners, but till date no decision has been taken in this regard.

3. Given the said facts, let the respondent No.1 take a decision on the representations made by the petitioners keeping in view the recommendation made by the respondent No.2 on 13.06.2016 (Annex.P/6). Let a decision be taken within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

4. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioners to bring it to the notice of the respondent No.1 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned. They would also be at liberty to file a fresh representation, if they so want, in respect of their claim.
