1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondents for grant of benefits as ordered by the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) dated 29.10.2016 (Annexure P-1).

2. Contention of the petitioner is that he has since retired on 31.08.2019 and the said benefits as per the Annexure P-1 dated

-229.10.2016 has till date not been granted in spite of there being a specific order in this regard.

3. Considering the aforesaid facts, let Respondent No. 2 to 4 take appropriate steps for ensuring that petitioner gets the benefits as has been discussed in Annexure P-1 dated 29.10.2016 in accordance with law if he is otherwise entitled under the Rules for the same.

4. Let this order be complied with at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
