1. Mr. Vaibhav Shukla, Advocate enters appearance on behalf of the respondents.
2. The dispute raised by the petitioner in the instant case is that erroneous entry of date of birth in the service record.
3. The counsel for the petitioner has relied upon exhibit P/2, which is a certificate issued from the Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal in respect of the Higher Secondary School examination, which the petitioner had passed much before the petitioner had come into the employment of the respondents. The petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner falls within the policy decision of the respondents pertaining to correction of date of birth i.e. II-76 and his case needs to be considered by the respondents in accordance with the said circular.
4. Given the said facts and the contentions raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition, let the case of the petitioner be considered by the respondents in accordance with the provisions of II-76 and an appropriate suitable order in accordance with the said circular be passed at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days.
