Petitioner is praying for recording of his name in column 12 of the revenue record on a piece of government land. 2.

The writ petition is not the appropriate remedy for such relief. It would be better if the petitioner moves before the jurisdictional Revenue Authority under the relevant provisions of the

Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959. If the application is filed, the petitioner should have no apprehension that the same shall not be considered in accordance with law. 3.
