The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as she is arrested in connection with Crime No.39/2016 registered in Police Station Baramkela, Distt. Raigarh (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 304-B/34 of IPC.

As per the prosecution case, one Savitri Patel committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on 19/04/2016. It is alleged that she was married to Netram Patel in the year 2013. Thereafter, she was subjected to torture for demand of dowry by the applicant who is the mother-in-law and the other family members.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that general allegations have been attributed against the applicant and main allegations have been attributed to Netram the husband and it is stated that Netram wanted to marry second time, therefore she committed suicide. Therefore, learned counsel submits that the applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.

Perused the statement of Manoj Patel the brother and Kavita Mali the mother. Considering the nature of allegations alleged against this

applicant who is mother-in-law which appears to be general in nature, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on her furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for her regular appearance before it as and when directed.
