1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner retired from service on 30.06.2015 and till date the pensionary benefits payable to the petitioner have not been released.

2. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that the respondent authorities had processed the case of the petitioner for grant of

pension and the petitioner was asked to deposit an amount of Rs.56,310/- in the treasury of the State which the petitioner has also deposited as early as 19.12.2017 but till date, the pensionary proceeding has not been finalized.

3. Given the aforesaid limited grievance that the petitioner has, the present writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to immediately process the case of the petitioner and in case the petitioner is entitled for pensionary benefits, the same be released to the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
