Heard on petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for correction of the crime number in order dated 16.08.2016, passed in M.Cr.C. No.4470/2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that inadvertently instead of actual Crime No.15/2016, Crime No.27/2016 was mentioned in the bail petition, but actually the crime number is 15/2016, therefore, he prays to correct the crime number in the order dated 16.08.2016 passed in M.Cr.C.No.4470/2016 as Crime No.15/2016 in place of Crime No.27/2016.

State counsel was directed to verify the facts and call for the case diary and after verification he also affirms the same and submits that actually the crime number is 15/2016.

Consequently, it is directed that in the order dated 16.08.2016, passed in M.Cr.C. No.4470/2016, the Crime No.27/2016 be read as Crime No.15/2016. The rest of the order shall be same. 5.
