1. This appeal arises out of the judgment dated 8.9.2015 passed by the 2nd Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Raipur in C.S. No.42A/12 whereby the application as filed by the respondent husband under Section 13 (1) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 for grant of decree of divorce has been allowed.

2. At the outset, counsel for the parties jointly submit that pursuant to the order dated 6.7.2017 passed by this Court referring the matter to Mediation Centre, both the parties appeared before the Mediation Centre and in presence of a neutral Mediator, arrived at a compromise wherein

both the parties decided to withdraw all the pending cases filed by them against each other including the present appeal. As per terms of this compromise, the appellant has already received Rs.5,00,000/- as against the total amount of Rs.10,00,000/- to be paid to the appellant and remaining amount of Rs.5,00,000/- would be paid to her immediately after withdrawal of Criminal Revision No.864/2014 pending before this Court. The said compromise was placed on record by the Secretary for Monitoring the Mediation Centre, Bilaspur on 22.8.2017.

3. In the light of above development, counsel for the appellant seeks to withdraw this appeal.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in particular the compromise entered into before Mediation Centre, the appellant is permitted to withdraw this appeal.
