Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 22.01.2021

1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the non settlement of final and full pension payable to the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, he was working on the post of Wireless Operator and has retired from service w.e.f. 31.03.2018 after completing 33 years and 5 months of service.

3. According to the petitioner after his retirement, he has been paid only anticipatory pension though he has received the entire gratuity payable

to him.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has retired and more than three years have lapsed and that there is no impediment on the part of the petitioner in getting full pension payable to him yet he is being paid only the anticipatory pension.

5. Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, let the respondents No. 3 to 5 take necessary steps in ensuring that the claim of the petitioner for releasing of full pension is decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case if the petitioner is entitled for full pension, the same be released within a further period of 30 days.
