1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present wit petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not deciding the departmental appeal pending before the respondent No. 1.

2. The petitioner was working on the post of Driver-Cum-Mechanic and he was terminated from service vide order dated 06.06.2020.

3. Against the order of termination, the petitioner had preferred a departmental appeal to the respondent No. 1 on 07.07.2020, however till date the appeal has not been decided.

4. Under the circumstances, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondent No. 1 to ensure that the appeal of the petitioner is decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
