The present petition is seeking an information from ICCI Bank (Respondent No.2.) in respect of service record of Respondent No.1. i.e. Smt. Pragya Shrivastava. It is contended that the petitioner is paying the maintenance charges to Respondent No.1 and she is the daughter of the petitioner and subsequently he came to know that Respondent No.1 is married and working with ICCI Bank. 3.

Without any observation on the merits of the case at this stage. It is

observed that Section 18 of Chapter V of the Right to Information Act 2005 deals with powers and functions of the Information commissions, appeal and penalties. Therefore, the petitioner has to knock the door of the State Information Commission or the Central Information Commission as the case may be. This Court cannot assume the power of information commission by usurping the jurisdiction. Therefore, I am not inclined to entertain this petition at the thresh hold as otherwise it would open a floodgate in the future for other like nature of litigations.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
