2. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that by mistake committed by the Secretary and Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat Village Masturi, the name of the petitioner for renewal of the ration card was left out. Consequently, she is deprived of the ration card. It is contended that by Annexure P/2, the application was filed by the petitioner for the issuance of

ration card and the mistake of omission of the petitioner's name was also admitted by the Secretary and the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat Masturi despite the fact that the ration card is not being issued in favour of the petitioner for which the petitioner has already made an application to the Collector Bilaspur i.e. respondent No. 2.

Perusal of the documents attached with this writ petition would show that the petitioner has made an application for renewal of the ration card by Annexure P/2 and reading of Annexure P/3 would show that the name of the petitioner was left out and that too has been certified by the Secretary and the Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat Masturi. Considering the issue involved in this case, the respondent No. 4 i.e. the Food Controller Bilaspur is directed to take into the account and to consider the application of the petitioner and thereafter issue the necessary ration card to her within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of this order.
