Grievance of the Petitioner in the instant case is the discrepancies in the record so far as the missing deductions in the GPF account of the Petitioner for the period from June, 2000; March, 2001; January, 2002; February, 2002; March, 2002; August, 2002; March, 2007; August, 2009 and July, 2014, total more than Rs.25,000/-, are concerned.

It is a case where the Petitioner has been retired from service with effect from 31.3.2018 and he has been paid GPF amount of less by Rs.25,000/- on account of missing deductions for the aforementioned period. 3.

Taking into consideration the nature of dispute, this Court is of the opinion that the grievance of the Petitioner can be at best redressed by a physical verification of the records that are available in the office of Respondent No.2 with which that are maintained in the office of Respondent No.3. 4.

In view of above, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing Respondents No.2 & 3 to cross check and verify the GPF account of the Petitioner in respect of the missing entries for the aforementioned period. If required, the Petitioner may also be called upon for personal hearing in the course of redressal of his grievance and finally if it is found that the Petitioner is entitled for payment of those amounts, let payment be made to the Petitioner forthwith.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
