The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order of transfer Annexure P-1 dated 27.08.2019 passed by the respondents transferring the petitioner from Sub Divisional Office, Masturi, District: Bilaspur, (C.G.) to Under Secretary, Chhattisgarh State Revenue Board, Bilaspur District: Bilaspur, (C.G.).

The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order of transfer on

the ground that the petitioner has been subjected to frequent transfer that he has been transferred more than 6 times in the last 2 or 3 years time.

Though, the contention of the petitioner is not incorrect, so far as the petitioner being subjected to frequent transfer, however, this Court as far as present impugned order of transfer is concerned is reluctant to entertain the same for the reason that the two places ie., the place where the petitioner is posted and the place where the petitioner is now ordered to be transferred is too short distance, which may cause any substantial inconvenience to the petitioner. The petitioner is presently ordered to be posted at Masturi and is vide the impugned order being brought back at Bilaspur headquarter, which is not a far-off place and is a close by place.

On this very ground alone, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Meanwhile, if at all the petitioner is aggrieved of the order of transfer, he has all right to approach the competent authority by making a suitable representation for any modification/amendment or change in the place of posting.

With the aforesaid observations, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off.
