The limited relief that the petitioner at the outset has sought is for a direction to the respondents to consider his representation in respect of not granting appropriate marks for the gradings in the ACRs that the petitioner has in the previous promotion process. 2.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case also in respect of the entitlement of the petitioner, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of expecting the respondent authorities to

take a decision on the representation of the petitioner purely in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 3.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
