The dispute in the present Writ Petition is the non-granting of the arrears of revised pay scale payable to the Petitioner in spite of the Respondents having taken a decision for granting the same.
2.
According to learned Counsel for Petitioner, the Petitioner was initially appointed as Shiksh Karmi (Grade-III) in 2005 and she has completed 8 years of service in 2013 entitling her for a revised pay scale. Subsequently, the Petitioner also has since been absorbed in the School Education Department in the year 2018.
3.
Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that by virtue of policy decision of the State Government, the Petitioner has been paid revised pay scale with effect from July, 2018, however, she has not been granted the arrears of revised pay scale for the period from May, 2013 when she completed 8 years of service till June, 2018. She further submits that though the Respondents have calculated the arrears part and also principally accepted for payment of the same but it has not since been paid to the Petitioner.
4.
Given the said facts, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the Respondents No.2 to 4 to take an appropriate decision so far as claim of the Petitioner for grant of arrears of revised pay scale is concerned. Let a decision in this regard be taken by the Respondents at the earliest, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
