1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that an application for demarcation of the land was filed on 18/03/2020. Subsequently the demarcation was carried on 12/06/2020 after issuing notice to the parties and thereafter the whereabouts of the file are not known. The

petitioner therefore made an application under the RTI wherein on 11/11/2020 (Annexure P-3) it was informed that the demarcation case is pending before the court of Tehsildar, Raipur. Thereafter the petitioner applied for certified copy of the demarcation case wherein direction have been issued to demarcate the land. The communication to this effect is already on record which purports that the proceeding for demarcation was carried out. Learned counsel submits that subsequently the petitioner had made several visits, however status of the demarcation report is not made known to the petitioner, therefore the Tehsildar be directed to conclude the proceeding as the demarcation has already been made within a stipulated time.

Considering the documents attached with this petition, it appears that the demarcation proceeding commenced on 18/03/2020 on an application filed by the petitioner and the RTI information would show that such proceeding are pending. If the proceeding of like nature are pending, it cannot be kept pending for indefinite period. As of now it appears that considerable time has passed, therefore the Tehsildar is directed to conclude the demarcation proceeding within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of this order.
