In course of hearing in MCRC No.4551/2018 (Deepak Manhare vs State of Chhattisgarh), it was noticed by this Court that most of the order sheets have been written in handwriting, therefore, an explanation was called from the District Judge, who in turn submitted report dated 21.08.2018 stating that at the relevant time, the generator facility was not available and the UPS backup was only for 10 minutes, therefore, the order sheets could not be computer typed and printed. Copy of the above said explanation was supplied to CPC for taking immediate action by attending the grievance mentioned by the District Judge, Bemetara in his explanation. The CPC has submitted a report stating that UPS supplied to the DW, Stenographer and PW have sufficient backup up to 35 minutes and the diesel generator has already been provided in August, 2018.

It appears, the District Judge has submitted different report regarding backup of the UPS to the CPC and to this Court during hearing of the subject MCRC.

The District Judge, Bemetara is warned to be careful in future. He shall see to it that the order sheets are typed in all Courts under his jurisdiction in computer only.

The MCC stands disposed of.
