2. The Director General Of Police Police Head Quarter, Sector - 19, New Raipur, District Raipur Chhattisgarh.
3. The Inspector General Of Police Police Range - Raipur Chhattisgarh.
4. The Superintendent Of Police District Raipur Chhattisgarh. ----Respondents For Petitioner :
Mr. A.N. Bhakta, Advocate For State :
Ms. Astha Shukla, Panel Lawyer Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 26/09/2018
1. The petitioner to the present writ petition has sought for a relief of a direction to the respondents to reconsider the case of the petitioner for appointment on the post of Constable (GD), which was on an earlier occasion turned down.
2. The refusal for appointment to the petitioner was perhaps on the ground that the petitioner was found to be involved in two criminal cases in the past, though the petitioner stood acquitted in both these criminal cases. The petitioner was permitted to participate and he was also found eligible and was also selected, except for the issuance of the appointment order. Subsequently, in a representation being made the petitioner's claim stood rejected vide order dated 14.09.2015 (Annexure P/1).
3. Later on the petitioner had made a representation to the Chief Minister of the State, who in turn had directed the respondent No.2 to reconsider the claim of the petitioner. Pursuant to the same, the office of the respondent No.2 has sought certain information from the petitioner vide letter dated 01.08.2018 (Annexure P/4), to which the petitioner has furnished all relevant records and documents in support of its case vide letter dated 07.09.2018 (Annexure P/11).
4. Given the said facts that the case of the petitioner is under reconsideration, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition, rather ends of justice would meet if the respondent No.2 shall take appropriate action on the claim of the petitioner in the light of the correspondence made from the office of the Chief Minister. Let an early decision be taken on the same.
5. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
