1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of suspension dated 04.07.2018. The said order from its perusal appears to have been passed invoking the provisions of the Panchayat Services Discipline and Appeal Rules, 1999. Under the provisions of the said Rules, the order appears to be an appealable order.

2. Given the facts that since there is a statutory remedy available to the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition at

this juncture. Reserving the right of the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the Appellate authority immediately and on such appeal being filed, let the Appellate authority take a decision on his appeal at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of the appeal.

3. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
