Laxman Kumar Jangde v. State Of Chhattisgarh

HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet CRMP No. 1495 of 2020 Laxman Kumar Jangde Vs. State of Chhattisgarh 05.01.2021 Request letter dated 24.11.2020 has been received from the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Sarangarh, District- Raigarh (C.G.) praying for extension of time to conclude the trial in Sessions Case No. 07/2019 (State Vs. Laxman Jangde) pending before that court. This Court, while disposing of MCRC No. 6799 of 2019 on 21.10.2019, directed the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of three months.

Considering on the prayer made by the concerned court for concluding the trial in Sessions Case No. 07/2019 pending before that court, I feel inclined to allow the prayer made in the request letter. Prayer is allowed and extension of time is granted. Further three months time is granted for conclusion of the case mentioned hereinabove. The time given shall start from the date this order is communicated to the court concerned.
