1. Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of transfer dated 21.08.2019 whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Rajnandgaon to Mahasamund.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that, his wife is also a government servant and is presently posted at Rajnandgaon and therefore the impugned order is violative of transfer policy so far as Husband and Wife being retained at the same place is concerned.

3. Given the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner within 10 days from today make an appropriate representation to respondents who in turn shall consider and decide the same within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of representation.

4. Till the representation is decided, the effect and operation of the impugned order shall remain stayed so far as the petitioner is concerned.
