Grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that, pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.S. No. 4272/2016 on 21.3.2017, the respondent authorities ignoring the said order has released substantial payment to the petitioner except for an amount of Rs. 3,71,945/- payable under the GPF to the petitioner.

At this juncture, learned counsel appearing for the office of Accountant General submits that they have already vide letter dated 21.2.2018 issued an instruction to the department for releasing of the GPF amount to the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 3,71,945/-. The rest is for the State Government to take a decision.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, let the respondents 1 as well as 5 immediately scrutinize the claim of the petitioner for releasing of his unpaid GPF amount and shall release the said amount with interest till the date of payment, within a period of 60 days from today.
