1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has sought in this writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent no.1 for deciding the departmental appeal which the petitioner has preferred as early as on 25.08.2020 at the earliest.

2. State counsel does not have any objection to the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the departmental appeal of the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
