Alleging that the respondents have not complied with the orders and directions issued by this court in W.P. (C) No. 2551 of 2017 dated 03.10.2017, the complainant is before this court in this contempt petition.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that order complained of dated 03.10.2017 has already been complied with substantially and the detailed order has been passed on 29.10.2018 by the respondents authorities.

3. The aforesaid statement is taken on record.

4. I have heard learned counsel appearing for the parties.

5. Admittedly, the decision which was required to be taken by the respondents pursuant to the above order dated 03.10.2017, has already been taken by order dated 29.10.2018 and thus, the respondents have substantially complied the order passed by this court though with some delay. Respondents have also filed affidavit tendering unconditional apology. The said apology is accepted.

6. In view of the fact that respondents have substantially complied the order of this court, I do not find any reason to proceed further in the matter initiating contempt proceeding against the respondents.

7. Accordingly, contempt petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order dated 29.10.2018 in accordance with law, if aggrieved by that order.

8. In view of above, presence of the contemnors are dispensed with. Certified copy, as per rules.
