1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has raised in this writ petition is in respect of the non-granting of the arrears of the benefit of revised pay scale payable to the husband of the petitioner on completion of 8 years of service.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that her husband was working under the respondents as a Teacher(P) who died in harness on 05.11.2018. According to the petitioner, her husband was found entitled for the benefit of revised pay scale which was granted to him w.e.f. 12.09.2018

whereas he was entitled for the same from 01.05.2013. However, on account of the death of her husband, the claim could not be made.

3. Given the said facts, let the respondents consider the claim of the husband of the petitioner so far as granting of arrears of the benefit of revised pay scale is concerned. If the husband of the petitioner is entitled for the arrears, the same be released to the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
